A scheme to manage flood risk and enhance biodiversity has been highly commended in the Motion Green Project of the Year 2025 awards.

Lower Severn Internal Drainage Board land drainage pumping stations at Lapperditch, Marshfield, Wicks Green and Oldbury are being upgraded so they no longer form a barrier to eel migration. The scheme has been awarded 'Highly Commended' in the Motion Green Project of the Year 2025 awards.
