Guided Tour of LSIDB Pumping Stations in June 2025

LSIDB led a tour for members and stakeholders to new and old Pumping Stations

With so many exciting changes coming LSIDB staff invited Board members, Robert Cauldwell (Chairman of ADA), and members of the Marches branch of ADA to see the work planned by the Board as part of its £10,000,000 upgrade to Pumping Stations.

A coach took a group of over 40 people to Elmore Back to see the newest LSIDB Pumping Station in action, and then on to visit the soon to be updated Lapperditch Pumping Station. A short walk across The Anchor's beer garden in Epney led to stunning views of the River Severn and provided the opportunity to see an outfall into the river.

Attendees agreed that it was an enjoyable and very informative trip.
